Alister Logie

Alister joined Ryden’s Project and Building Consultancy team in Aberdeen in May 2017 after graduating from Robert Gordon University and is now a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Alister provides clients with advice on dilapidations, contract administration, planned preventative maintenance, feasibility studies and building surveys.

PROJECTS:

Dilapidations - Hareness, Aberdeen Acting for Hunting Energy Services, successfully negotiated dilapidations settlement with the landlord in relation to the head lease and subsequently with the sub tenant for the sub lease liabilities.

Contract Administration – Hill of Rubislaw, Aberdeen Acted as contract administrator for Kennedy Wilson in a number of office refurbishment projects up to a value of £250k. Work included securing all statutory approvals, tender action and project management through to completion.

Feasibility Study – Portlethen, Aberdeenshire Preparation of a feasibility report for Mileway focusing on the separation of an existing industrial unit into two separate lettings. Report reviewed building fabric, services, approvals, programme and budget costs.

Building Survey – Police Scotland (North Division and Northern Isles) Assisted in group wide instruction to inspect commercial and residential premises and thereafter complete reports to client’s desired format detailing works required, timescales and budget costs.
