Business Services Administrator - Edinburgh

We have an opportunity in our Edinburgh office for a Business Services Administrator. This role is pivotal to the success of our office as you will be part of the team who make sure our surveyors have what they need to deliver a great service to our clients. We think someone who not only can carry out the tasks below but ideally with an interest in property would flourish.

Key accountabilities of the role

  • Answer team and office calls
  • Meet and greet clients and perform a front of house function
  • Carry out dictation, typing, proofing and editing
  • Co-ordinate client events and seminars
  • Proficient in use of excel
  • Knowledge of publisher
  • Preparation of tender documents and collation of information for bids
  • Assist and support with the preparation of client presentations
  • Setting up new clients in SAGE
  • Liaising with other departments in Ryden e.g. finance, IT, marketing
  • Managing team expenses in a timely manner
  • Invoice generation
  • Co-ordinate the office QA process
  • Support the RMP and marketing team with social and charitable events
  • Set up meeting room and arrange catering for client and partner meetings
  • Diary management and booking team travel
  • Arrange inspections
  • Manage key system
  • Covering for other administrators during period of holiday and absence

Key skills required

  • You will be personable, friendly and keen to help
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be organised and help your colleagues to be too
  • Skilled typist with dictation experience
  • Client focused
  • Experience and knowledge of social media and digital marketing would be advantageous

Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
