I’m a Graduate Apprentice which entails a 5 year programme working towards a University Degree and ultimately achieving my APC. I joined Ryden for the atmosphere I first experienced in my interview when applying for the job – cheerfulness and a sense of community. Not only this, Ryden is widely known locally and nationally with the firm being respected for its experience and knowledge across the market.

Despite being straight from school I feel part of each team I work in and feel respected by my colleagues. It’s made clear that anyone can be asked anything, everyone wants to help and offer advice if needed.

The Graduate Apprenticeship structure allows me to ‘earn as I learn’ with block release to University. I am on rotation around the departments, spending a number of months in each. I hope that this will provide me with the best possible groundings for my career at Ryden as I can use knowledge from all aspects of the business in future work.

  • Glasgow

I initially joined Ryden as a summer intern whilst I completed my degree at the University of Aberdeen. From day one I was treated as one of the team by all the employees and made to feel at home in a rewarding work environment.

Now a Graduate at Ryden I am currently working towards achieving my APC through the commercial pathway, gaining valuable experience in all the required departments to complete my competencies. I started in the Aberdeen office and then moved to the Glasgow office to experience working for the Agency team in a different marketplace.

Ryden empowers their employees through autonomous working but has the additional benefit of vastly experienced support networks in place to offer help and guidance wherever or whenever it is needed.

I'm an Associate in the Property Management department and have been with Ryden for 5 years. Our department is busy and the work is challenging, with no two days the same. We have a great team who all work together to provide our clients with the highest standard of service. We also work closely with other departments. Ryden has a very collaborative way of working with all teams interacting across service lines and offices.

I really enjoy being part of Ryden, there's plenty going on beyond the working environment and a great social aspect to the office. We hold an annual charity quiz and have run a company triathlon - Tryden - which was a great success.

Ryden is a company where you can work hard and be supported and valued.
