Description

Disposal of the original Royal Hospital for Sick Children when the hospital moved to new state-of-the-art premises on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The 4 acre site incorporated a range of listed buildings.

Outcome

The sale attracted 21 formal bids which were narrowed to six before the preferred bidder was selected.

Purchased by Downing Group for conversion to a residential development and student accommodation.
