Peter I’Anson has been with Ryden for 20 years and has wide experience within the public and private sectors in all aspects of general practice surveying. He is a Partner within the Office Agency & Development department, specialising in development and agency instructions.
His responsibilities include advising clients on value, marketing, acquisitions and disposals with regard to office, institutional properties and major developments.

Retained advisor for Baillie Gillford. Acquired the second and third floors for the expansion of Baillie Gifford to include a training centre. Premises extended to 2,328 sq m at The Cube, Leith Street, Edinburgh.
Acquired Tanfield for the Carlyle Group. Tanfield comprises 18,580 sq m of offices formerly occupied by Standard Life. Provided development consultancy advice and letting strategy in a joint capacity. Development completed July 2009 and arranged the lettings to AECOM, Trainline.Com, FNZ, Avaloq and Zonal.
Sole agent responsible for the letting of Verity House at Haymarket to COSLA who acquired 1,571 sq m. Subsequently assisted in the sale with Investment colleagues to The Lime Fund.
Acted on the development on a former Post Office building at West Port 102. Provided development and agency advice for this 8,639 sq m office development. Retained by West Port SARL to market and promote the new development with lettings to ERM, Senergy, Broadcom, NHS and Sainsbury.
