Ken has over 28 years’ experience of commercial property and is Head of Ryden’s Investment & Finance Group. Prior to joining our Aberdeen office in 1991, Ken worked in Glasgow and London dealing with Agency, Professional and Project Co-ordination work. In Aberdeen he has concentrated solely on transactional business, initially responsible for occupational agency.
In 2001 he was promoted to Partner and the following year he moved to the Investment & Finance Group to develop the firm’s investment business in the North of Scotland.
To date, he has advised on over £1 billion of investment transactions.

Providing investment advice prior to the marketing and disposal of HQ office buildings at Prime Four Business Park. To date, three sales have been concluded for a combined price of £137m.
Advised on the disposal of two city centre office buildings, St Magnus House and New Telecom House with an aggregate price of £27.55m.
Negotiated the purchase of an Industrial Estate in Bridge of Don at a price of £4.2m and a new office development pre-let to GDF Suez at North Esplanade West on a forward funding basis at a price of £16.10m.
Retained by locally based private clients to identify new acquisition opportunities. Since 2013, eight properties have been acquired with a combined price in excess of £21m.
