Alasdair specialises in the acquisition and disposal of commercial property investments in London and throughout the UK, acting for institutional, property company and private investors.
Alasdair is a chartered surveyor with almost 30 years’ experience in the commercial property market. He worked for Mason Philips from 2002, where he was one of the joint owners of the business, and joined Ryden following the merger of the two firms in December 2016.
Acquired the Metro Building, a 71,041 sq ft Grade A office in Salford Quays, Manchester for £18.1m on behalf of Picton Capital.
Acting for Royal London Asset Management, purchased the Compass Business Park in Chessington, Surrey for £9m in an off market deal. Rated BREEAM excellent, it was amongst one of the first schemes in the UK designed to incorporate several new energy saving technologies which offer occupiers a 25% reduction in carbon emissions.
Recent sales have included two retail warehouses in Stoke totalling 60,252 sq ft which sold for £4.5m in an off market deal acting on behalf of Chancerygate.
