Ryden’s Planning Team has helped to deliver Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for the proposed new international music and performing arts venue in the heart of Edinburgh city centre.

The Dunard Centre, to be developed by IMPACT Scotland, has been designed by David Chipperfield Architects. It will be the first purpose-built music venue in the city for a hundred years, with an acoustic and audience experience designed to rival the very best in the world.

It is expected that work on the 1,000 capacity centre will get underway next year and open by 2026, hosting classical, pop, rock, jazz and electronica concerts. It will also be home to the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, which will play a significant role in the Edinburgh International Festival.
