Multi-let industrial business centre in County Durham sold for over £3m

Ryden’s Investment team in Manchester has recently advised on the sale of a multi-let industrial business centre in County Durham for more than £3m in an off-market transaction.
Skillion Business Centre has been purchased by a private London-based investor, reflecting a net initial yield of more than eight per cent.
Located in the village of Langley Moor, the property comprises a refurbished block with external yard areas and a parade of small workshops, making makes a significant contribution to the economy in the area.
Ian Whittaker, Associate at Ryden Manchester office and Merrit & Co Solicitors, acted on behalf of the vendor, while Naylors Gavin Black, alongside joint agents Sorkin Brown Chartered Surveyors and Curry Popeck Solicitors, represented the buyer.
