Industrial Property Study, Scottish Enterprise

  • Scottish Enterprise was concerned that Scotland’s ageing and under-invested industrial property stock was ill-equipped to adapt to future needs. The existing stock also faces the challenge of the carbon reduction agenda.
  • Our report assessed the extent of obsolescence in key areas of Scotland’s industrial property stock. We reviewed existing research, produced an analysis of current stock, created a suite of case studies and suggested potential interventions.
  • The potential interventions we recommended Scottish Enterprise to consider included providing highly-serviced sites, company-specific support and supporting refurbishment programmes.

Housing and Commercial Property Business Cases, Scottish Cities Alliance

  • The seven cities in the Scottish Cities Alliance are Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Stirling.
  • We were employed to conduct research which would create a set of clear, large-scale property development propositions to take to market as collaborative opportunities.
  • Our report provided market analysis, market testing and strategic business cases for the private rented sector (PRS), SME industrial premises, the hotels sector, student accommodation, A9 roadside services and assisted living.
