The Scottish Government

  • Our planning team authored a ground-breaking Planning for Infrastructure research report for the Scottish Government, with input from Brodies and WSP.
  • This significant project involved a 9-month programme of Scotland-wide primary research and identified emerging best practice in providing enabling infrastructure for development and highlighted barriers to infrastructure delivery.
  • The team was subsequently commissioned to conduct follow-up research into specific issues relating to deliverability.  Our findings are being reflected in emerging Scottish Government planning advice on housing and infrastructure.

Aberdeenshire Masterplans

  • In Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire we have promoted a range of large scale sites for development through the local plan process.
  • These have included residential sites for Stewart Milne Homes, Cala Homes East and AJC Homes.
  • Several of the masterplans our team has created have required the creation of new town centres or extensions and consolidation of existing centres.
