Hillington Park, Glasgow

  • Brought in by Oaktree/Patrizia to provide advice on the acquisition of Hillington Park which formed one of three assets in the £430m Hermes business park portfolio.
  • Hillington is Scotland’s premier business park, comprising c. 186,000 sq.m. of industrial and office accommodation together with 27.5 hectares of development land.
  • The park offered the opportunity for new development in an improving industrial market with a fundamental shortage in supply. It has the unique combination in Scotland of a range of prominent development sites with simplified planning zone benefits.

One New York Street, Manchester

  • Advised Royal London Asset Management on the off market acquisition of a multi let 113,256 sq ft office building in central Manchester for £55m.
  • Our investment teams in London, Manchester and Edinburgh worked closely to provide the client with the off market opportunity, utilsing their UK wide reach. Initially sourced by our Edinburgh team, our London team then used existing relationships to move the deal forward to bid stage and the Manchester team was able to provide important market data to support the bid.
  • By securing the purchase of this prime asset off market we saved our client the significant time and effort involved in going through a traditional tender process in a very competitive Manchester investment market.
