Edwin specialises in advising private investors, property companies and institutions on all aspects of investment and is responsible for the firm’s portfolio asset management business in London and the South of England.
Edwin holds an economics degree from Cambridge University and the CISI Diploma and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He has over 27 years’ experience in UK real estate, working initially at BNP Paribas and subsequently Mason Philips, where he was one of the joint owners of the business, before joining Ryden following the merger of the two firms in December 2016.
Recent deals include a work-out of a £30m portfolio for clients and GE Capital, and eventual refinancing of the assets following the portfolio’s successful turnaround.
The re-gearing of a lease on an industrial building resulting in an uplift on rent from £400,000 to £800,000 and subsequent doubling of the investment value.
Currently working on the long term redevelopment of a number of sites for residential and mixed use schemes within client portfolios.
