Independent professional services company, Turner & Townsend, has taken space at Atria One in Edinburgh’s Exchange district. The firm, who specialise in programme, project, cost and commercial management, is leasing 5,800 sq ft of second floor Grade A office accommodation on a ten year lease.

Turner & Townsend, which has been operational for more than 70 years and employs over 5,000 people across 108 offices worldwide, is relocating from its premises on Osbourne Terrace in the city and requires a larger office due to business expansion.

Atria One is a landmark Grade A office development located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Exchange District, the leading business and financial area, benefitting from a wide range of transport links and shops and leisure amenities in close proximity.

It is home to a variety of successful organisations including PwC, EY, IBM, Brewin Dolphin, The Law Society of Scotland and The Co-operative Food.

Richie Hales of Turner & Townsend said: “We are really pleased to be moving in to Atria One, where the improved facilities for the 100 staff based from the office and the increased collaboration space will allow more integration of multi-disciplinary services. Our Edinburgh office is strategically significant for our UK business, as from here we service all of our three core markets – Real Estate, Infrastructure and Natural Resources.”

Peter I’Anson of Ryden said: “We are delighted to have secured this Grade A office space for Turner & Townsend. Atria One development was quickly established as the perfect location to accommodate the company’s plans to expand, providing their staff with great benefits to increase their business.”

Ryden represented Turner & Townsend in this transaction, whilst CBRE and Savills acted for the landlord Deka.
