Socialicity moves to 180 St Vincent Street in Glasgow

Marketing technology specialist Socialicity Limited is opening new offices in Glasgow at 180 St Vincent Street, where they have taken the 5,865 sq ft 6th floor of the building at £23 per sq ft on a six-year lease. 

This transaction quickly follows the lettings to HRC Recruitment, Turcan Connell and Alexander Sloan who have all relocated to the building in the last 6 months. 

Socialicity, a firm specialising in marketing technology services for financial businesses and headquartered in Watford, Hertfordshire, were looking for a high quality and fully-equipped office space capable of being operational within a very tight timeframe.

180 St Vincent Street was recently fully refurbished by Northwood Regional UK Ltd, owner of the building, who completely transformed the top four floors and the main reception to create a space particularly attractive to professional services and corporate occupiers.

Mark Evans, Director at Northwood, commented: “This deal with Socialicity and the previous lettings show how One180 has become one of Glasgow’s most sought after business addresses. Thanks to our ability to structure deals to suit any business’ needs, we feel confident further lettings will follow shortly. We are also now progressing with the refurbishment of the remaining floors within the building on the back of these lettings”

Simon Johnson of Socialicity also said: “We’ve selected One80 because of the high quality space provided, the inbuilt IT solution and the great views. Our staff will also enjoy the amenities the area delivers, with a host of bars, restaurants and shops within a few minutes’ walk, and its proximity to great transport options.”

The landlord’s hands on approach with this occupier coupled with their foresight to pre-install fibre were a major factor in securing this letting.
