Ryden took home nine awards at CoStar’s annual ceremony in Scotland last week. Each year the property data company completes a thorough analysis of the thousands of deals done over the previous 12 months.
The awards recognised Ryden’s exceptional performance in the Glasgow Offices market, where the firm came top in three of the five league tables, and in the Scottish Industrial market, where Ryden came top in four of the five league tables and completed double the number of disposals of the closest competitor.
Peter I’Anson collected the award for Edinburgh Offices Dealmaker of the Year for the second year running. CoStar reported he was described quite rightly by one voter as “one of the busiest dealmakers in the market”. He also shared the award for Edinburgh Deal of Year for the letting of 22,290 sq ft at Calton Square to Baillie Gifford. Watch Peter’s reaction to his award wins here.
Accepting Ryden’s awards, Managing Partner Bill Duguid said “It’s very nice to be recognised by our industry peers. We’ve got some very good people and our ethos is very much a family ethos. It’s about finding the right people, nurturing them and making sure they have the right opportunities to get out there and do what they do best.” Watch Bill talk about the strong momentum building in Scotland’s commercial property market here.
These latest awards come after Ryden was named ‘Property Agency Team of the Year’ at the Scottish Property Awards earlier this year and ‘Most Active Agent in Scotland’ for the 13th time by Estates Gazette.
