Ryden has signed a lease at The Exchange in Edinburgh and will relocate its HQ to the city’s business district on 19th October.
A 10-year lease has been agreed for the 582sq m ground floor of 7 Exchange Crescent, Conference Square, EH3 8AN following the firm’s 25 years at North Castle Street; All 45 Edinburgh staff will relocate.
Partner Peter I’Anson handled the negotiations: “We selected Exchange Crescent from a number of short-listed options to provide a high-quality space from which to develop our business.
“Moving from a townhouse to a single level will mean collaboration on projects is easier and we will be closer to our clients, friends and fellow professionals, while maintaining on-street presence at our new office.
Exchange Crescent as a business location resonates with Ryden’s quality and professionalism. We are proud to be part of an evolving area which has seen the recent development of Atria and has office proposals from Hermes and Scottish Power.”
The interior design and project management of the fit out is being handled by the firm’s growing Project & Building Consultancy team. The office will be contemporary in style and is being designed to maximise team working by arranging workspaces around a central hub, with dedicated quiet areas.
Ryden joins Shepherd and Wedderburn, Morrisons, Colliers, Logic Now and Pure Gym among others at Exchange Crescent.
Landlord Standard Life was represented by JLL and CMS. Burness Paul provided Ryden with legal representation.
