Ryden has been appointed by Aviva Investors to sell Swan House, a 5,145 sq m / 55,389 sq ft office building in Dundee Technology Park.
Aviva has taken the decision to sell Swan House following a review of its estate. It is one of the largest buildings to come to the Dundee office market in several years.
According to Andy Boal of Ryden’s Dundee office: “Swan House offers investors, occupiers and developers a great opportunity to acquire a prominently located office building on a 12.6 acre site with mature grounds and over 300 car parking spaces.
“The building itself provides mainly open plan office accommodation, arranged over two floors around a central courtyard. It lends itself to multi-occupation or, potentially, to redevelopment. The very prominent location adjacent the A90 and Riverside Avenue adds to the appeal. We already have interest from a variety of sources.”
The property was built in 1992 as the regional headquarters of General Accident and has latterly been home to a number of charitable organisations, with Aviva providing free work space for charities, non-profit organisations and community groups.
