Refurbishment works complete at Bankhead Industrial Estate, Edinburgh

7th November 2016

Ryden has announced the completion of the refurbishment of Units 3 and 10 within Bankhead Industrial Estate in West Edinburgh, on behalf of Standard Life Investments.

The refurbishment work on the two vacant units will ensure that future occupiers continue to have the benefit of quality industrial / trade accommodation.  Other tenants on the estate include Screwfix, Howdens, Dingbro, Wet Rooms, SafeStore and The Edinburgh Beer Factory.

Unit 3 at 660 sq m (7,109 sq ft) has direct frontage onto Bankhead Crossway North and a secure fenced yard at the back.  Internally the minimum eaves height is 8m and there is an open plan office at first floor level.

Unit 10 extends to 498 sq m (5,365 sq ft) and is a mid-terraced unit with a separate pedestrian access and a new vehicle access door.  There is an office at first floor level and the eaves height in the main area is 8m.

Neil McAllister, partner at Ryden comments: “There is now very limited trade industrial accommodation left in Edinburgh and it is expected that the above units will be attractive to the market.  The location on the west side of Edinburgh is certainly as good as you will get in terms of accessibility to the road network serving Edinburgh and central Scotland.”
