Property industry body turns to Ryden for advice

22nd July 2016

Ryden has secured new office space for property industry body, Scottish Property Federation (SPF).

The property consultancy negotiated a new lease for the entire 1,248 sq ft 4th floor of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo’s newly refurbished HQ building at 3 Cockburn Street, in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town.

Iain Taylor, Associate at Ryden, said: “We were thrilled to be appointed once again by SPF to help them find their new office.  After conducting a thorough search of the market and presenting a short-list of options, SPF selected 3 Cockburn Street as their preferred office.”

David Melhuish, Director at SPF, added: “The new SPF premises offer improved facilities for our many members who visit our office frequently to engage in our activities on behalf of the sector.  Being located within a couple of minutes’ walk of Waverley is also much appreciated by members from outside the Edinburgh region.  We are delighted with the excellent advice and support from Iain and colleagues at Ryden for our move from Rutland Square.”

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo occupies all but the upper office floors at 3 Cockburn Street.

SPF was advised by Ryden whilst The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo was represented by Knight Frank.
