Mott MacDonald moving to St Vincent Plaza

10th February 2017

Ryden has announced that the 5th and 6th floors of St Vincent Plaza, totalling 34,515 sq ft, has been let to global engineering group Mott MacDonald in the largest office letting in Glasgow for over six months.

Speculatively developed by Abstract Securities, ‘Grade A’ St Vincent Plaza was built to combine economic running costs and highly efficient energy performance with flexible workspace. It has an Excellent BREEAM environmental rating.

This latest deal follows previous lettings to KPMG, Whyte & Mackay and Registers of Scotland. The 172,280 sq ft 12-storey building is now 65% let.

Ewan Cameron, Ryden’s Regional Managing Partner in Glasgow said:

“This building occupies an excellent position in Glasgow City Centre and we’ve seen a number of large occupiers attracted to the area which has a real buzz about it. With the amount of Grade A space available in Glasgow reducing, and a limited development pipeline, we are experiencing a lot of interest in the remaining floors.”
