Liverpool Victoria (LV=) has signed up to take the 1,924 sq ft ground floor office suite of 220 St Vincent Street in Glasgow. Property consultant Ryden secured the deal on behalf of clients of Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers.
The financial services business is relocating from a business centre in town and has taken the accommodation on a five-year lease at £23 per sq ft.
LV= joins existing high profile occupiers including Hiscox Insurance and Towry Services.
220 St Vincent Street occupies a prime location within Glasgow’s city centre. The building is in the final stages of a comprehensive refurbishment which includes a new reception and common parts and full refurbishment of the vacant floors. In addition, a new roof terrace for the 3rd floor has been created with stunning views to the south of the city.
Tim Jacobsen, associate at Ryden, commented: “It is a true testament to the quality of the building to have secured this letting in advance of the extensive refurbishment works completing. LV= is due to take occupation shortly and the company will be a welcome addition to 220 St Vincent Street, further adding to the high calibre occupier mix.”
A spokesperson from LV= added: “Having been located in multi-let serviced offices for a number of years, the local office, providing general insurance and pension services to the Scottish and Northern Irish markets, is delighted to have taken space in this prestigious building.”
Three floors from 2,503 sq ft to 6,091 sq ft remain available to let at 220 St Vincent Street.
Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers is represented by both Ryden and JLL. LV= was represented by Eddisons.
