Acting for Affinity Property Partners LLP and Zephyr (Scotland) Ltd, Ryden has sold the prominent Northpoint and Centre Point mixed-use developments at Hillington Park, Glasgow to a purchaser for £7.236m.
Comprising a total of 120,000 sq ft across 33 units, both sites provide a mix of high quality modern industrial, workshop, studio and office space.
Ryden has been marketing agent at Northpoint and Centre Point since their practical completion in 2008 and 2013 respectively and has signed up a diversified mix of occupiers including Pram Centre, Survitec, River Island, Jaw Brew and Marble Fashion.
Gregor Harvie, associate at Ryden and marketing agent at both developments said: “We received significant letting interest at Northpoint and Centre Point and I’m pleased with the price achieved for my clients. The price reflects the high specification of business space available, high occupancy rates and prime business location of Hillington Park, which offers easy access to Scotland’s main motoring network.”
Geoffrey Howison, director at Zephyr (Scotland) Ltd and Affinity Property Partners LLP, commented: “We developed both sites from older buildings that we refurbished and sub-divided. Working with Ryden we secured a well-diversified occupier base and we are pleased with the sale price achieved.”
Ian Dougherty, Investment partner at Ryden who represented the purchaser in the deal, added: “Opportunities to purchase multi-let developments such as Northpoint and Centre Point continue to attract a lot of interest, therefore our client was pleased that we were able to secure this acquisition for them. Both sites offer great future potential for our client.”
