Children’s Commissioner relocates into Haymarket office

17th October 2014

Ryden has secured the ground floor office suite at Rosebery House, Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh for Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People.

A five-year lease was negotiated for the 2,788 sq ft ground floor office suite. The office of the Children’s Commissioner is relocating from Holyrood Road and joins existing tenants including Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland (also represented by Ryden), Young Scot and Network Rail at Rosebery House.

Iain Taylor, Associate at Ryden who acted on behalf of the Commissioner, commented: “Value for money and accessible office space were two key factors to the Children’s Commissioner in the search for the new office. The central location of Rosebery House and the savings it produced for the office therefore made it the ideal choice.”

JLL acted on behalf of the landlord, Aviva Life & Pensions (UK) Ltd.
