As a part of its ongoing expansion Baillie Gifford has signed up to lease an additional 12,740 sq ft at the Cube at 45 Leith Street in Edinburgh.
Property consultant Ryden advised the independent fund manager in the deal, agreeing a rent of £26 per sq ft and tying the new lease in with the firm’s main lease at the Grade A building which expires in 2023.
Baillie Gifford now occupies a total of 37,000 sq ft over the first, second and third floors at the Cube. Its HQ is housed in the neighbouring Calton Square complex and this new letting see the firm’s overall accommodation in the city extend to over 180,000 sq ft.

JLL advised the landlord in the transaction.
