Hogarth Worldwide opens first office in Scotland

28 April 2014

M&G Real Estate has agreed to let 8,633 sq ft on a 10-year lease to Hogarth Worldwide, a global marketing implementation agency, at its Grade A office development at Waverleygate in Edinburgh.

This represents Hogarth’s first office opening in Scotland and adds to their global list of offices which includes New York, Singapore, London and Hamburg.

Waverleygate, the former GPO building acquired by M&G Real Estate in 2013, has been popular with occupiers and is home to a variety of tenants including Scottish Ministers, Microsoft, Amazon and H&M.

Duncan Holmes, Associate Director, Asset Management at M&G Real Estate, comments: “We’re very happy to welcome Hogarth Worldwide to Waverleygate. Only 7,500 sq ft of accommodation now remains available to let out of the total 217,000 sq ft of offices. With strong interest lining up for the remaining space, we expect the already impressive tenant line up to increase further.”

Peter Proud at Hogarth said: “We are delighted to be opening our first Scottish office. Waverleygate offers the perfect space for us. Hogarth is a fast growing business - our technology helps multinationals take their marketing campaigns into international markets. The Edinburgh office will house some of our digital development teams who will be working with both local and international clients.”

Iain Taylor, Associate at Ryden who represented Hogarth in acquiring the office space adds: “Hogarth was drawn to Edinburgh due to the availability of a highly skilled workforce which will help them to continue to grow the business in Scotland and beyond.  Waverleygate provides an ideal location at the heart of the city centre and Hogarth join an impressive tenant line up including Microsoft and Amazon.”

Ryden acted on behalf of Hogarth Worldwide.  M&G Real Estate was represented by Montagu Evans and JLL.
