First letting at Elliot Business Park
19 February 2010
Ryden, on behalf of Elliot Estates Ltd, has secured the first letting at Unit 4 Elliot Business Park, Peasiehill Road, Arbroath to Sterling Relocation Ltd.
The international relocation firm has taken approximately 728 sq m (7,840 sq ft) of newly refurbished warehouse space on a five-year FRI lease. A rental of £29,000 per annum was achieved.
Fergus McDonald, surveyor at Ryden, commented: “We are delighted to have secured our first tenant at Elliot Business Park. Sterling Relocation required a storage depot in Scotland and this unit suited their needs perfectly, being both centrally located and situated within a secure and modern environment.”
Wendy Lownie of Sterling said: “We have a blue chip client base in Scotland, including both leading financial services companies based in Edinburgh and Glasgow and the major natural resources firms with operations in Aberdeen. We are delighted to have found such high quality space that is so conveniently located for all of our customers.”
Bruce Linton of Elliot Estates added: “I’m very pleased to be welcoming Sterling to the Park and that our decision to invest in Arbroath, providing much needed space, has proved the right one. We are in negotiations with other prospective tenants and anticipate announcing further lettings soon.”
Approximately 5,110 sq m (55,000 sq ft) of industrial accommodation remains available at the business park in units ranging from 635 sq m (6,840 sq ft) to 1,344 sq m (14,470 sq ft). In addition there is an office block of 416 sq m (4,480 sq ft) available to the front of the building. Further details are available by contacting the sole letting agents Ryden.
