  • Acting as retained agents let 1,709 sq m to Craneware, a specialist software company for the hospital and health care industry; 1,115 sq m to thetrainline.com; and 1,607 sq m to FNZ, a specialist IT software company in the wealth management sector .

  • Let the building to Tesco Personal Finance within three months of its practical completion. This deal is understood to be the largest letting of a speculative building in Glasgow in over 30 years. The building’s large floorplates and environmental sustainability were two of the key features of its design.

  • Negotiated a lease surrender to secure vacant possession.

  • Ran a high profile pre-completion and post-completion marketing campaign which secured lettings to Barclays Bank plc, Burness LLP and Knight Frank.
  • Act as property managers of the building.

  • Advised on the design of the city’s largest and most innovative speculative office development.
  • Secured high profile lettings to Centrica and Woodgroup for the entire building.
  • Set a record rent for Scotland of £31 per sq ft.
  • Advised on the onward sale to Aerium for £50m, reflecting a net initial yield of 6.5%.
  • Retained as property mangers for the development.

City House
Property: City House, Leeds
10,870 sq m office development in the city centre
Client: Kenmore
  • Advised Kenmore on the acquisition of the building for £14.6 million. The property is let to the Highways Agency and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
  • Retained by Kenmore to act as the joint letting agent for the refurbished space. Once completed it will be one of the largest office buildings in Leeds.
