- Advised on the forward funding of a new data centre. The centre is a £183 million facility comprising of c.4,274 sq m of tier 3 accommodation spread across eight separate data halls.
- Targeted private investors with an opportunity which combined the tax benefits of an Enterprise Zone with the suitability of the site for development and a high qualifying rate due to the cost of the building.

- Assisted in assessing the initial planning potential and alternative uses of Scotmid’s site in consultation with the planning department of the City of Edinburgh Council. This provided a framework for a proposed joint venture partner to progress a development opportunity.
- Held a limited entry competition to secure a joint venture partner for the development and assessed the detailed offers to assist in selecting the most appropriate partner.
- Worked with the joint venture parties to secure planning consent for two new Grade A office buildings on the site.
- Obtained forward funding for the development from Credit Suisse EuroReal.
- Enabled Scotmid to maximise the value of their site and finance the construction of a new headquarters.
