Elite deal at Glasgow’s West Regent Street

Elite Training and Consultancy has purchased the first floor of 144 West Regent Street in Glasgow for £177,500 from a private vendor client of Ryden. The IT tuition specialists previously leased the accommodation extending to 1,095 sq ft.
Ross Jubin at Ryden said: “Elite Training and Consultancy approached us looking to purchase office space in the city whilst still tied into their existing lease at West Regent Street for two years. As the West Regent Street suite was tenanted it was not being marketed. Fortunately however, our client was open to selling their accommodation subject to achieving a fair price. The sale also reflected significant savings for Elite Training in light of their existing lease commitment.”
He added: “Current market conditions have led to a reduction in the number of sales, but this transaction highlights how a deal that is mutually beneficial to both landlord and tenant can be achieved.”
