New owner to open Machan Vaults

On behalf of Belhaven Pubs, Ryden and Kylepark have sold the Machan Vaults at 8 Muir Street, Larkhall, South Lanarkshire to a private individual for continued use as a public house.
The traditional sandstone building, which was on the market at an asking price of £160,000, extends to c.1,200 sq ft and consists of a ground floor lounge bar plus 3-bedroom first floor apartment. There is a small car park to the front and garden area to the rear of the building offering scope for development. The property is situated in the Machanhill area of the town, located close to the junction of Muir Street and Union Street, which is the main commercial thoroughfare through Larkhall.
