Majestic deal sees Parkway Retail Square in Livingston fully let
31 March 2011
Parkway Retail Square in Livingston is now 100% occupied after landlords sealed the deal on the final unit with Majestic Wine.
The UK's leading specialist wine retailer has signed a 15-year lease on a 3,826 sq ft unit at £47,500 per annum and joins existing tenants Adore Beauty, Direct Flooring, Chicken Cottage, Marinis and Sayegh Orthodontics. Majestic Wine has taken the space as part of its UK wide expansion programme and has additional requirements in West Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee.
Parkway Retail Square is a highly successfully purpose built retail development in Livingston town centre. Completed in 2009, the development extends to a total of 12,919 sq ft. The units were built to a high specification and benefit from planning consent for full mezzanine and generous car parking facilities on site.
John Conroy partner at Ryden said “Livingston is a vibrant retail centre and Parkway Retail Square sits well within the town’s wider retail offering. The opportunity was attractive to niche occupiers as well as national operators and I’m therefore not surprised that the development has let as well as it has.”
Ryden, Eric Young & Co and FT Linden advised landlords Parkway Livingston LLP and Rapleys represented Majestic Wine.
