6 September 2011
Acting jointly with Lawrence Hannah on behalf of Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors, Ryden has signed up three new tenants at Auster Road, Clifton Moor, York.
Starglaze Windows has moved into units 29-30, following refurbishment of the space by Ryden’s Building Consultancy team. The 1,858 sq ft was taken on a five year lease at £18,500 per annum. The firm is expanding its operations from its base in Lincolnshire, where it is the largest manufacturer of windows, doors and conservatories.
The ground and first floors of Secoe House, the former Persimmon York HQ, have been taken on a three year lease by Little Stars Day Nursery. A stepped rental rising to £23,500 per annum was agreed for the accommodation measuring 2,886 sq ft.
Oakenclough Buildings Ltd, also know as Garasheds, has taken 0.1 acre of land on a ten year lease at £15,000 per annum. The land adjoins the firm’s existing accommodation on Auster Road and has been taken in order to facilitate expansion.
Clifton Moor estate extends to 500,000 sq ft and has over 94 tenants and Ryden actively manages this for Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors.
Craig Gooddy, letting agent at Ryden said: “Clifton Moor is an established and well run estate that consistently attracts new tenants, as well as having many existing tenants expand into more space as it becomes available. These latest deals represent another round of successes for the estate and landlord, as well as Ryden and Lawrence Hannah, in keeping the voids at a very low level.”
