COSLA sign at Verity House, Edinburgh

18 January 2011

Ryden, acting for clients The Pensions Trust, has announced that COSLA (Constitution of the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities) has signed up to lease the whole of Verity House at 19 Haymarket Yards.

COSLA, the representative voice of Scottish local government, has taken the 1,571 sq m (16,912 sq ft) self-contained office with 11 car parking spaces on a long lease.  It is anticipated that the company will relocate from its existing Rosebury House office, which adjoins Verity House, in April 2011 following the completion of fit-out works.

Verity House spans three floors and was extensively refurbished by The Pensions Trust in 2009 following their vacation of the premises.   Nearby occupiers include Tesco Personal Finance, Inland Revenue, Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh & Lothian and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Peter I’Anson, partner at Ryden said: “Verity House is the ideal location for the Convention as it provides them with a modern self-contained open-plan office with its own front door.”

COSLA was represented by GVA Grimley.
