Two retail deals sealed in Edinburgh

Ryden’s retail agency team continues to be successful in Edinburgh concluding two retail deals within a matter of days.
On behalf of a private landlord, Ryden sold 44 West Port to a property investment company for £120,000. The company has bought the 927 sq ft unit as an addition to their portfolio.
At 16 Bridge Road in Colinton, Fine Distribution Ltd has leased 275 sq ft on a five-year FRI lease at £6,500 per annum. The retailer plans to create a unique shopping environment with an emphasis on colour, cleanliness and a bespoke and changing product that rebukes the stigma that recycled is somehow inferior. The shop will trade as Fine and is due to open on 2 January next year. Ryden represented a private landlord in the deal.
