Tokyou Opens First Restaurant in Scotland
26 October 2010
Property consultant Ryden has confirmed that Tokyou Ltd has signed up to open its first restaurant in Scotland at 45-46 South Bridge in Edinburgh.
The Asian restaurant has sub-let the 1,156 sq ft unit at an annual rental of £30,000. The deal was concluded by Ryden, acting on behalf of a private client.
Tokyou will join other nearby eateries such as Ciao Roma, Pizza Paradise, Aspen Bar and Grill and Biblos, when it opens in January 2011.
Mr Zhu at Tokyou commented: “The Edinburgh restaurant will be our third operation and complements our existing Sheffield and Liverpool restaurants. We will be providing excellent service and a menu offering a variety of cuisines from Southeast Asia.”
Will Biggart, surveyor at Ryden noted: “Tokyou has had great success with their existing restaurants and I’m sure the concept will be just as successful in Edinburgh. I’m certainly looking forward to enjoying a meal there next year.”
