Ryden selling former Strathearn Homes residential sites
09 November 2010
Acting on behalf of the joint administrators of Strathearn Homes Limited, Ryden has launched the marketing of two residential development opportunities located in Broughty Ferry and Haggs, near Bonnybridge.
The Broughty Ferry site sits to the north of Falkland Crescent in a very popular residential area. The 0.33 hectare / 0.80 acre site has planning permission for the development of three four-bedroom detached houses, each architecturally designed on split-levels to take advantage of the natural lie of the land.
The second site also extends to approximately 0.33 hectares / 0.80 acres and sits on the edge of the village of Haggs at Kilsyth Road, with easy access to the A80/M80 trunk road. The land has been identified as a ‘New Allocation Housing Land Opportunity’ in the new Falkirk Council Local Plan, which is due to be adopted shortly.
Andy Boal of Ryden’s Dundee office, who is handling the sales, commented: “Both sites offer purchasers the opportunity to acquire development land in popular residential locations. The Broughty Ferry site is a particularly rare chance for a developer to buy a site with planning permission for development in a much sought after area.”
Matt Henderson of Johnston Carmichael was appointed as joint administrator of the Broughty Ferry based Strathearn Homes Limited on 12 October 2010.
