Ryden appoints new planning partner in Edinburgh

Property advisor Ryden has announced the appointment of a new partner to its consulting group. Marc Giles, an experienced town planner, is based in the firm’s Edinburgh office.
Marc joins from Rapleys LLP, where he managed the planning department in Scotland for six years. Previously he worked for DTZ and Halliday Fraser Munro.
Dr Mark Robertson, head of consulting, says: “Marc’s experience and knowledge of planning in Scotland is a great supplement to our existing offering to clients. As markets emerge from recession, demand for residential, industrial and commercial property in our cities and towns will increase. We are pleased to have positioned ourselves for this with Marc’s appointment.”
