New Tenant Marches into Falkirk High Street
24 February 2010
On behalf of a private landlord, Ryden has concluded the letting of 34-36 High Street, Falkirk to The Salvation Army.
The charity has taken the 1,598 sq ft retail unit at a rental of £35,000 per annum on a ten-year FRI lease.
Will Biggart, surveyor at Ryden, commented: “Falkirk High Street has had many vacant units in the past few years and this letting to The Salvation Army is a great result for the town, as well as the landlord. There has been an increase in the number of charities and discount retailers moving into High Street locations throughout Scotland during the economic downturn and this, in part, is down to the opportunities arising due to administrations and surplus vacant units.”
The Salvation Army was represented by Philip Wragg and Partners.
