Gair & Gibson to Move to Newmarket Street, Falkirk

One of Falkirk’s longest established law firms, Gair & Gibson, is set to move to new premises at 7 – 9 Newmarket Street. The new location will ensure that the firm is better positioned to serve the needs of the local people with more modern facilities and better access.
Gair & Gibson, which has been in existence for well over 150 years, has taken the two units totaling 1,707 sq ft on a 10-year FRI lease. The deal was brokered by Ryden and DM Hall on behalf of the landlord CTL Estates (Management) Ltd, and involved obtaining planning permission for a change of use from Class 1 (retail) to Class 2 (office).
Keven Douglas of Gair & Gibson commented: “We are very excited about moving to purpose designed premises right in the centre of Falkirk. We will be continuing to provide the high quality personalised service for which we are known, but our clients will also benefit from improvements in technology and location. We look forward to welcoming both existing and new clients to our new offices once the conversion is complete.”

Our client was pleased with the speed of the deal, as within only five months of the units being placed on the market we had signed up a new tenant and planning permission had been obtained for a change of use.”
