Former Wood Group facility sold

In Dundee’s largest industrial sale since 2006, Ryden has successfully sold the former Wood Group facility at Forties Road, Baldavie Industrial Estate.
The property was purchased by a private buyer for investment purposes on confidential terms.
Extending to approximately 4,029 sq m (43,374 sq ft) the substantial industrial facility incorporates a large workshop building, associated offices and laboratory space.
Commenting on the deal, Andy Boal, associate at Ryden said: “We’re pleased to have secured the sale of this prominent unit on behalf of Wood Group Properties. There has been relatively little activity at the larger end of the industrial property market in Dundee over the past year or two and hopefully this sale is a sign of more positive things to come”.
