Administrators to sell prime Perth Road site in Dundee

Offers in excess of £1.2 million are being sought for a prime residential site at Perth Road, Dundee after Ryden was instructed by Grant Thornton UK LLP, joint administrator of Signature Homes (Scotland) Limited (in administration), to sell the land.
The site, a former plant nursery owned by James Laurie and Son, extends to 1.1 hectares (2.272 acres). It has planning consent for twenty houses (eight detached and twelve semi-detached) and is situated two-miles west of Dundee city centre with an attractive outlook to the south over the River Tay.
Signature Homes (Scotland) Ltd received bids of up to £2.4m in 2007 but the company went into administration and half that value is now being sought.
