Duo of Small Office Lets

Ryden’s Edinburgh Office Agency team has recently sealed the deal on two small office lettings.
Acting on behalf of the landlord, Ryden signed up Waverly Care, Scotland’s largest charity providing care and support to people living with HIV and Hepatitis C, at 1/3 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh. The charity has leased 2,631 sq ft at a rent of £12.35 per sq ft on a 15-year term, with a break at year 5 and 10.
In Musselburgh, Insureness Ltd has taken 1,044 sq ft at 18 Bridge Street. The new start-up company signed a 5-year lease with a break at year 3 at a rental of £13.89 per sq ft. Ryden represented the private landlord.
Gary Bell, of Ryden said: “Despite the general slow-down across Edinburgh's occupational market, these recent transactions highlight the fact that the smaller end of the market still has life.”
Waverly Care and Insureness Ltd were both unrepresented in the deals.
