Cornerstone appoints 2 Brewery Wharf agents
5 January 2011
Property Consultants Ryden and CB Richard Ellis have been appointed joint letting agents on Cornerstone’s latest acquisition at 2 Brewery Wharf in Leeds city centre. Ryden’s Property Management team also secured the contract to manage the building. Cornerstone made the appointments on behalf of its charities fund.
Developed in 2004, 2 Brewery Wharf provides 26,185 sq ft of grade A offices. Up to 6,468 sq ft is available to let on the third floor at a quoting rental of £18.50 per sq ft.
Brewery Wharf is a popular, award winning, mixed-use riverside development. It is located on the south side of Leeds city centre on the banks of the River Aire, with easy access to Leeds City Station and the M1 and M621 motorways. Occupiers include Mott MacDonald, NHS Confederation, Aedas, DLG Architects and Jury’s Inn Hotel, along with a number of bar and restaurant operators. Asda’s HQ is also situated nearby.
Ryden’s Steven Jones said: “Cornerstone is a long standing client of Ryden and we are absolutely delighted to have secured this agency instruction. We have the resources to service the marketing of the vacant space and consider this instruction yet another step forward in our ambition to gain greater market share in the challenging climate.”
Andrew Brook, who will be undertaking the day-to-day management of the property for Ryden, commented: “This property offers high quality modern office space in The Calls area. We look forward to working closely with two well regarded occupiers, and given the landlord's plans for the common and vacant parts of the property we are sure the property will perform well for years to come."
