Buchanan Gate Reaches New Heights

On behalf of Scarborough International, joint letting agents Ryden and DTZ are pleased to announce a further letting within Buchanan Gate Business Park in Stepps.
Thyssen Krupp Elevators (represented by Charles Speight and Partners) has taken a new 10 year lease on part of the remaining ground floor suite within Building 7, extending approximately 2,500 sq ft, at a rental of £15.50 per sq ft.
Thyssen has chosen Buchanan Gate as the location for their new regional headquarters and joins other high profile occupiers including Barratt Homes, BAM Construction, Sodexho, ROK and the Richmond Fellowship.
Commenting on the letting, Tim Jacobsen of Ryden said: “We’re delighted to secure Thyssen as a tenant at the Park. The firm considered a number of options but the quality of product and terms on offer, together with the location, convinced Thyssen to join the other occupiers within the Park.”
Buchanan Gate Business Park now stands at approximately 100,000 sq ft of built product, with further detailed consent for 50,000 sq ft of offices and a stand-alone nursery facility. There is also an on-site Travel Inn and Brewsters Family Pub/Restaurant at the entrance to the Park. Only two suites now remain available within the development from 2,500 to 4,000 sq ft respectively.
