Baguette Express for Edinburgh’s Royal Mile

Acting on behalf of Rainbow Edinburgh Ltd, Ryden has concluded the lease assignation of 12 High Street, Edinburgh to Mohamed and Kashiff Afzal. The 423 sq ftground floor retail unit has been assigned at a passing rent of £68.57 per sq ft and extended for another 15 years. The shop will trade as Baguette Express.
Will Biggart of Ryden acted for the landlord. He noted: “Assigning the lease on the current terms goes to show that there is still significant demand for retailers to be located on such a prestigious street.”
12 High Streetis located close to the junction of Jeffrey Street and St Marys Street with the High Street, which forms part of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile.
