Sellout at 1 Woodside Place

Ryden, on behalf of Grovemoor Developments Limited, today announced the sale of the final suite within 1 Woodside Place to McMillan Media.
The Belfast-based media specialists acquired 3,036 sq ft suite six for £600,000. On the back of a successful contract secured with SMG, McMillan Media saw the fully refurbished suite as an ideal opportunity for Glasgow to be its new Scottish base.
This final sale concludes what has been a very successful venture for Grovemoor Properties. The entire building extends to 12,000 sq ft which is split into seven individual suites. The building was extensively refurbished both internally and externally and close attention to detail was given to finishes throughout. Subsequently, five office suites were pre-sold and along with McMillan Media, the other occupiers in the building are Thomson McCallum, FL Walker, Dunn Interiors, T3 Financial Services, Lorimer Homes and Maxwell Bruce.
Commenting on the development, Tim Jacobsen of Ryden said: “It took great vision by our client, Lindsay Crawford of Grovemoor, to buy this property for this type of development. However, this vision has paid off and subsequently all the suites are sold and values in the order of £210 per sq ft have been achieved for previous sales which is breaking new ground for the Park Area.”
