Woodhall Mill Brae Development Site Sold

Ryden, for private clients, has sold a 0.32 ha (0.79 acres) site situated off Lanark Road. It is understood that a price in the region of £800,000 was paid for the site which houses a stone built cottage currently used as an office.
Purchaser Strawberry Scotland Limited has obtained detailed planning consent to build 10 new houses on the site.
Roy Durie of Ryden said that there is a shortage of residential sites in Edinburgh and even with the current banking problems there is still considerable pent-up demand for sites.
