Dundee's Vision up for Sale

22nd August

The Vision@Seabraes building in Dundee has been put on the market for sale by joint agents Ryden and Graham & Sibbald. Vision@Seabraes is a landmark building which was completed in late 2005 as the first phase of the Seabraes Yards development - also known as Dundee Digital Media Park. The building, which comprises a total of 93,151 sq ft (8,654 sq m) of lettable space, is divided into 13 open plan suites offering accommodation from 2,087 sq ft (194 sq m) upwards.  There is also a separate annexe building of approximately 8,000 sq ft (743 sq m). Andy Boal of Ryden considers that Vision@Seabraes presents a rare opportunity for an investor or owner occupier to acquire a building of excellent quality and size in a city centre.  He says, "This is an award-winning landmark building in a superb city centre location. The development was undertaken with an uncompromising attention to detail, designed to include features such as a light and spacious central atrium, glass backed wall climber lifts, a full fresh air displacement heating and cooling system - all within a few minutes walk of Dundee city centre". The developers of Vision@Seabraes, P4 Property Holdings Ltd, went into receivership shortly after the building was completed. The building has attracted interest whilst its future was being considered by the receivers.  The selling agents expect a significant level of interest now that the decision has been made to offer the building for sale.
