Sentinel Scores Again
9th February 2006
Kenmore Property Group has let two more floors at Sentinel, the landmark Grade A office development on Waterloo Street in Glasgow 's International Financial Services District (IFSD). Morgan Stanley UK Group has taken a 15-year lease over the third and fourth floors - a total of 18,059 sq ft at a rental equating to £22.50 per sq ft. This letting follows on from recent lettings at Aon, British Steel Pension Fund Trustees Limited and Ace INA UK Limited. Morgan Stanley's expansion is very good news for Glasgow as this represents a 35% addition to space taken only just over four years ago in the nearby Cerium Building . Mary Galbraith of Kenmore commented: "Sentinel has enjoyed outstanding success. The space we have created has been very well received in the market and we are delighted to have secured Morgan Stanley, another occupier of exceptional quality. The building is now over 60% let and there continues to be strong interest in other floors - we hope to announce further lettings shortly". Ryden and James Barr acted jointly on behalf of Kenmore and Morgan Stanley was represented by Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker.
